I started using healing and personal development tools in my early twenties.
For a lot of that time I wasn’t that flush with money and for some of it, in loads of debt. 😬
In my business (coaching, energy work and teaching Reiki), a big issue for a lot of people is wanting to heal but saying they can’t afford to.
But there is SO much you can do completely for free. 🤗
I’m constantly giving out my free tools to people – and it tells me a lot about someone’s personality if they don’t bother using the free tools available to them, but would be happily get a free coaching session or energy treatment so someone else can “fix” them (which isn’t a thing – you have to come to the party too and be an active participant in your own healing).
What I notice about most people that I’ve gifted free sessions to is that they either don’t show up for the session or they don’t do the home play I suggest – so either way, they don’t really show up for themselves. 🙄
I rarely gift sessions anymore for this exact reason.
For those who are like me – more than willing to put a shit load of work in and invest their time in using free stuff online, here are my tips on where to start:
👉🏼 Use YouTube – it’s an incredible resource where you can find free EFT (talking), meditations, hypnosis, information, subliminal music on all kinds of topics about what you want to heal.
📧 Coaches and energy workers often have free tools for subscribers – I have lots of different freebies available for you, just check the link in my bio.
✍🏻 Journalling – writing is cathartic and totally free!
🫁 Breathwork
🧘🏼 Meditation
🌴 Go for a walk in nature. Some of my biggest breakthroughs have happened while stomping around a park talking to myself like a lunatic.
📖 Read books from your local library. Free knowledge. Free growth. Free perspective shifts.
🎧 Listen to podcasts while you’re driving, cleaning or walking. There are thousands of hours of free education available.
🗣️ Have honest conversations with people you trust. Sometimes healing starts when you finally say the thing you’ve been carrying around in silence.
🧐 Practice self-awareness. Start noticing your patterns, triggers, reactions and excuses. Awareness is where change begins.
🧘🏼♀️ Learn to sit with your emotions instead of immediately trying to numb them with food, alcohol, shopping, scrolling, work or relationships.
🙌🏻 Take responsibility for your healing. Nobody is coming to rescue you. And that’s actually good news because it means your power has been with you all along.

Sometimes it requires the courage to change, consistency to sticking to the work, and getting off your arse and actually using the free resources you’ve already got access to.

But long before I could afford any of that, I used every free tool I could get my hands on (and still do!).
Stop focusing on what you can’t afford right now and start using what you already have access to.
