Where will you be in 5 years if you don’t invest in yourself now?

Every now and again I get a message that goes something like this:

“I want coaching/Reiki/to learn Reiki/to change my life, but I don’t have any money.”

This immediately tells me something really important about that person.

They aren’t truly committed to making the changes they say they want in their life 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know straight away this person is hoping to get something for nothing, and I also know I could give them a tonne of free value that ultimately they would do nothing with.

I work with plenty of people who say they have no money for bus fare to get to appointments, yet they somehow manage to drink alcohol every day and smoke a packet of cigs daily.

It’s all about priorities.

If you’re telling yourself you want x y or z, but say you can’t afford it, ask yourself honestly where you’re putting your money and are you able to budget in a different way?

Can you be resourceful and find the money from somewhere? 💰

When I get these questions, I point people to all the free value, tips, videos and resources available on my website

There’s so much on there that you can use to make changes in your life.

But, generally, these people won’t make the effort to look through free content.

When I genuinely had no money to invest in coaching or education, I would spend hours each day (as I still do), listening to free content on YouTube, reading books, blogs and articles, and implementing as many tools as I could find.

When I wanted to sign up to the life coaching academy I trained through, it was at a time in my life where I didn’t really have the cash to spare.

But I was learning to be a Law of Attraction (LoA) Coach, and so I put my money where my mouth was knowing if I truly believed in the LoA, then I should follow the goosebumps telling me to sign up, and the money would flow to me.

I never missed a payment, and because I paid to do the course, I put in way more effort than if it had come for free.

I’ve never stopped investing in myself, as I’m 1000% committed to becoming the best version of myself possible 🤩

I’ve spent tens of thousands on personal development and on the development of my biz.

Ask yourself, “if I was truly committed to change my life, what would my best self do?”

My client Tina said if she hadn’t invested in coaching with me many years ago now that right now she’d either be dead, in prison, an addict or in a gutter or psychiatric ward.

Powerful feedback.

I have many clients who’d still be in relationships with abusers if they hadn’t invested in themselves.

Who’d still be stuck in jobs they hated 😖

Who’d still be drinking every day if they hadn’t invested in energy work

The best investment you can make is in yourself.

When you invest in yourself, you commit to following through with change.

If you truly don’t have the money right now, are you showing your commitment by absorbing all the free knowledge you can?

There’s so much amazing free content available online.

Do the work, commit to yourself.

And when you can, put your money where your mouth is.

Catcha on the flip side,

“Carly, I was having a crappy day and you were the shining light in my day. Thank you for your time and gorgeous energy. Feeling excited about what the future will bring” ~ Karen, Perth
