This isn’t a question many people consider very often but it’s an important one.
Do you like who you are in general?
What about the person you are (or become) around certain people? 🧐
What percentage of the time are you authentically YOU?
Do you even know who your authentic self is? 🥹
I’m happy to say at this stage of my life that I like myself most of the time.
The times when I don’t like who I’m being is usually when I’m frustrated by chronic pain which can get to me at times. 🫣
But most of the time I feel like I’m happy being me.
It took me a while to get there though and took a lot of personal development and healing to learn to love who I am. 🫶🏻
It’s also been a long process of decluttering people from my life who don’t bring out my best self.
For years I hid my greatness because I was with partners or friends who wanted me to stay small, who’d bully/abuse me and make me feel less than and not good enough.
Fuck those wankers. ☺️
I didn’t like who I was around them.
I honestly don’t give a shit if you like me or not.
The most important thing is that I like me. ❤️
After all, I have to hang out with myself 24/7.
I’m not for everyone and I’m totally cool with that.
I’m going to spend the rest of my life honouring who I am and spending my time with those I love who love me back. 🥰
Spend a moment reflecting on this today; do you like who you are?
Do you like who you are when you’re with your partner/friend/XYZ?
If not, why not?
If not, what do you need to do about it?
