You’re not exhausted all the time because life is “busy.” 🫩

You’re exhausted because you’re absorbing everyone else’s shite, you’re overthinking everything and you’ve got zero energetic boundaries.

So if you’re constantly feeling like life is sucking the energy out of you, it’s time to sort your shit out.

 

Here are my top 8 ways to protect your energy.

 

⚡ 1. GET GROUNDED (YOU’RE WAY TOO IN YOUR HEAD)

If you constantly feel like you have a gazillion tabs open in your brain and can’t seem to find which one you need at any one time, you’re living way too much in your head and you’re not grounded in your body.

It’s easy to get grounded; get outside, put your bare feet on the ground, touch the grass, sit in the sun and take deep breaths. 👣 ☀️ 

You can also visualise roots coming out of your feet into the earth, or go for a walk or run. 🏃‍♀️ 

 

🛡️ 2. PROTECT YOUR ENERGY

Visualise yourself surrounded by a protective shield:

💡 White light for protection

💞 Pink for self-love

🤩 Gold for high vibes

🪞 Mirrored layer to bounce shitty vibes back to where they came from.

 

⚔️ 3. CALL IN BACKUP (YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE)

Whether you’re spiritual or just spiritually curious…

Call in your support team. 💪🏻 

I personally call in Archangel Michael plus my spirit guides and angels for grounding and protection.

 

🧼 4. KEEP ON TOP OF YOUR ENERGY HYGIENE

You brush your teeth daily (hopefully). 🪥 

Start thinking of needing to keep on top of your energetic hygiene too through tools like:

👈🏼 EFT (tapping)

🙌🏻 Energy healing

🛁 Salt baths

🫶🏻 Self-healing practices

Do it regularly, not just when you’re already a burnt-out mess.

When you maintain your energy and keep your vibe clear, you fall in a heap way less.

 

🗑️ 5. DECLUTTER YOUR LIFE (YES, INCLUDING PEOPLE)

Your house isn’t the only thing full of junk.

You’ve got:

🧳 Old emotional baggage

😫 Draining friendships

🥴 Situations you’ve outgrown but refuse to leave

Every single thing you keep that drains you costs you energy.

If it’s not serving you, let that shit go.

 

🧛‍♀️ 6. ENERGY VAMPIRES ARE REAL (AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE)

You know the ones.

Their name pops up on your phone and your whole body goes: “Ugh. Not today Karen.”

That’s your body saying “this person drains the fucking life out of me.”

Limit contact where you can.

If you can’t?

🙅🏼‍♀️ Cross ankles/wrists (cuts energetic flow)

🫧 Use your protective shield

✋🏼 Keep interactions short and maintain good boundaries.

You don’t owe anyone unlimited access to you – and if you think you do, you need to work on those people-pleasing tendencies.

 

🚧 7. YOUR LACK OF BOUNDARIES IS THE PROBLEM

Stop abandoning yourself – because it’s costing you everything.

Start saying:

“No”

“That doesn’t work for me”

“I’m not available for that”

“That doesn’t feel like a yes for me”

It’ll feel uncomfortable at first and you’ll feel guilty, but you’ll get used to it, trust me.

Boundaries don’t push people away, they just reveal who was benefiting from you having none.

 

🧠 8. CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN… AND STOP OBSESSING OVER THE REST

You can’t control other people, the economy or the news cycle trying to scare the shit out of you. 😳 

But you can control your focus, your response and your energy.

So either:

🌀 Change the situation

🌀 Change your perspective

🌀 Or remove yourself entirely

But if you’re not willing to change anything and want to just keep whining about it, people will get sick of listening.

 

Protecting your energy isn’t some fluffy spiritual concept.

It’s the difference between:

Feeling calm vs constantly overwhelmed

Clear vs confused

Empowered vs drained and resentful
