I love this quote by Ernest Hemingway;
“We are all broken. That’s how the light gets in.”
Reminds me of a blog I wrote on kintsukuroi, a Japanese technique where they take broken items and piece them back together with gold, the idea being that we are more beautiful for having been broken.
The most amazing people I’ve ever met are those who truly know what it is to feel broken, and to learn, heal and grow in the art of putting themselves back together again.
When we go through life’s challenges, we discover more about ourselves.
If we choose to, we can use these times to learn and grow, becoming a better version of ourselves.
There are many times in my life I’ve felt broken.
The most recent was earlier this year, with deep, dark and nasty old fears, limiting beliefs and a lot of hurt in my heart.
But the more I go through the broken stages in life, the better my life gets on the other side; because I’m committed to healing and releasing, always.
There are people who choose to stay feeling broken instead, staying in victim mode and always blaming others for their perceived brokenness.
Which one do you choose?
If you’re feeling broken right now and want to choose healing, you might like to check out my online program, From Surviving To Thriving.
Or you might prefer 1:1 coaching or an energy treatment (distant and in person available).
Whatever you decide, I’m sending you loads of love and happy vibes along with my well known Carly Cuddles.
