In the last few months I’ve found a new hobby – making book nooks. 📕
For most of my life, all the things I’ve done for “fun” have also usually been tied to my biz in some way – learning energy work, coaching tools, personal development stuff and watching serial killer docos. 🔪
But I’ve rarely done stuff just for fun, outside of socialising with mates.
A few months ago I discovered these book nooks in Spotlight, and started making them.
I’ve since spent HOURS making around five book nooks now, they’re so fucking cute and SO fun to make! 😍
It’s become a bit of an obsession.
In my online coaching program, From Surviving To Thriving, the importance of having fun is a whole lesson on its own.
That’s because having fun is an amazing vibration-raiser – it’s a great tool to use to break a shitty state you’re in, to distract you from life’s problems, and just to give yourself a treat, which you deserve because you work hard, right?! 🤷🏼♀️
Years ago when doing an exercise to discover my core values, I discovered that fun was my number one value. 🥇
In the past when life has become too stressful, there’s been a complete lack of fun; so these days if there’s too much serious shit happening I make a point of booking in something fun to do.
Are you letting your life get too serious at the moment? 🧐
Is it time for you to do something fun?
If so – catch up with those mates that make you piss your pants laughing. Watch a comedy show. Or, if you’re up for checking them out, get your first book nook! I recommend Rolife/Robotime which you can get at Spotlight. There are loads on Temu too but these are a bit hit and miss.
Tell me in the comments – what are you going to do for fun in the next week?
Whatever it is, enjoy it 😋
Catcha on the flip side, where fun is a priority.
