If you’re struggling through something difficult, like a sand bog or a marsh, going back takes as much effort as is does to push through to the other side.
The painful slog through needs to be gone through to get to the end.
What I see in a lot of people going through tough times is that they want to bury their head in the sand and avoid the issue altogether (which never resolves anything), or they avoid their painful emotions through drink, drugs, emotional eating or whatever their vice is.
There’s no magic bullet or pill you can take to get you through the shitty times any quicker.
To be able to get healing on a situation, we have to embrace it and go through the challenge with our whole heart, with curiosity and self-awareness.
This means acknowledging that we’re in pain and sitting with it instead of trying to fix or avoid the pain.
Yes it’s painful, but the pain will pass instead of it being repressed to bite us in the butt another time.
Make sure you keep yourself in a good routine and take care of yourself, whatever that means for you.
Life isn’t always roses, sometimes we just need to walk through turds.
If you take each rough time as an opportunity to grow and get clarity on what you want to create in your life, it’ll be easier on you.
If you’re struggling through turds at the moment, get in touch with me to see how I can help you. It makes it a lot easier when you have someone else helping you armed with poo bags for all those turds 😆
