We all go through painful situations in life – it’s an inevitable part of the journey of living.
But suffering is a human condition and one that we do to ourselves.
We obsessively think about things that happened in our past, that we did or were done to us.
We overthink all the things we believe are going wrong in our lives.
And by doing so, we forget how magnificent our life really is.
What we focus on, we get more of. By wallowing in our suffering and dwelling on the negative, we are on a slippery slope to anxiety, depression and burnout.
There is always something to be grateful for.
This breath…. this life… your health… good friends… love.
What do you have in your life that you can be grateful for?
Who do you have in your life that brings you joy?
What do you love doing?
Focus on the good stuff, and you’ll gradually move out of the stuck, negative vibes.
If you need a hand getting unstuck, give me a shout.
