People so often complain that they don’t have enough time to achieve X, Y or Z. You want to start a new hobby, but you don’t have enough time. You want to learn a language, but you don’t have enough time. You’d love to exercise, but you don’t have enough time. You want to start a business on the side of your job so you can finally leave the 9-5 grind, but you don’t have enough time.
What if I told you it’s actually really easy to get an extra 130 hours in your year to do/learn/grow/achieve/change?
If you can’t see the video below, click here to watch it on YouTube.
All it would take is waking up 30 minutes earlier each day. And that’s only 5 days a week, it doesn’t even include weekends!
What time do you wake up now?
I get up at 5.30am on weekdays, and I don’t even really need to because I work for myself so I run my own routine. My goal is to get up at 5am, but recently I started setting two alarms – one for 5am and one for 5.30am. I’ve been wanting to get into daily meditation, so when my 5am alarm goes off I put my headphones in and play a 20-30 minute guided meditation – my fave is Bob Proctor’s abundance meditation which you can get from YouTube.
I then bounce out of bed at 5.30am ready to exercise, happy that I’ve nailed my meditation for the day.
So what can you do with an extra 30 minutes a day? Read? Start a new positive habit? Exercise? Watch the sunrise?
Comment below and let me know what you’ll be doing with your extra 130 hours this year!
