Stop telling yourself “I’ll be happy when…”

When I get that job/house/car/partner/money… I’ll be happy.

How often do you do this to yourself?

The problem with this is that we never arrive there, because the finish line always moves.

We also cheat ourselves out of a dopamine hit when we constantly reach for the next goal, instead of celebrating where we’re at.

We then find ourselves wanting to achieve less and less, which is why so many people get stuck and stall in life.

Try instead living in a state of “blissful dissatisfaction” – where you’re constantly grateful with where you’re at and celebrate every small win but the goal is to have even more bliss.

This bliss causes us to want more of it because it feels SO GOOD.

The more we can create a state of bliss the more we can attract bliss into our lives.

It’s important for us to celebrate our wins, keeping the dopamine hit coming and motivating us to want to keep achieving in a state of bliss and celebration.

Follow the 80/20 rule here by spending 80% of your time focused on what’s going well in your life and what you’re grateful for, and 20% of your time giving yourself a kick up the butt.

What can you find bliss in today?
