Throughout my career, I’ve met far more people who aren’t willing to take responsibility for what shows up in their life than those who are.
People who love to take a victim stance and blame others for their actions.
One of the biggest lessons in life is that you’re always responsible for how you act, no matter how you feel.
Nobody can make you feel or do anything – people will do what they do, and you can choose how you feel about that as well as how you react to it. 🤷🏼♀️
Our life is made up of a variety of choices that put us on the path we’re on.
If we make a mistake, we can also choose whether we own that mistake and course-correct as soon as we can.
A lot of people I’ve met choose to dwell on those mistakes, sometimes for the rest of their lives. 😳
How does that serve them, do you think?
Usually not very well.
These are usually also the same people who choose to drown their sorrows in drugs, alcohol, complaining and mindless scrolling on the internet.
Reflecting on your own life, are there any areas where you could take more responsibility for your choices and behaviour?
