I’ve made a lot of different versions of vision boards over the years – pictures from magazines glued to paper, created collages online, used pic collage apps and saved them as a screen saver on my phone, and more recently been creating them using words, sparkly stuff and images pinned to a corkboard. 📌
Here’s my last two vision boards – 2025 and 2026.
I created my 2025 vision board in January that year.
At that time I’d moved into Hot Fiance’s place a few months before and had my place rented out; we were looking to buy our own house together. 🏡
I was just about finishing up my day job at Corrections and moving into being a full-time lady boss.
At the time, Cam was looking a lot at real estate online and we were chatting about what our ideal home would look like, we had a lot of “wants” on the list including space for a home gym and a place to be able to run my biz full time. 🤗
I got him to send me images of houses we both liked so I plastered these all over my vision board, along with words like happiness, abundance, fortune, opportunity, success, love, connection and #boss.
There was a photo of us together laughing, and a pic of me with a glass of champers toasting to success. 🥂
At the end of May that year, we sold my house, moved into our dream home and the next couple of months were focused on renovating and selling Cam’s house, which sold immediately.
When we unpacked, I compared the images on the vision board with the house we just moved into and WOW, it was spooky! 😳
The bathroom looked the same, the back of the house looked the same, it had the same trees in the picture and the bench with the view at the end of the street is even on there!
Except our house was even better than the vision board pics. 😍
In January this year, I decided to run a workshop called Make 2026 Your Best Year Yet, which included creating a vision board.
I created my 2026 vision board as part of this, which included some of the same affirmations but this time I put all over it that my mortgage was fully paid off, I put screen shots of what I wanted in my savings, pics that represented travel and the next car I wanted to buy. 🚘
A few of my goals are already achieved in ways I didn’t imagine, so I’m curious to see what I decide to put on my next vision board!
Getting really clear on what you want to create matters – if you’re unsure, then think about how you want to feel, then include words and images that represent that. 🌅
I start with goals or words then do image searches on Google, print off the pics and add them.
Once you’ve created your vision board then keep it somewhere you’ll see it every day – my 2025 one was in my Reiki room, my 2026 one is in my wardrobe where I walk in and take a look at it a couple of times a day.
Take a photo of it too, and use it as the screen saver on your computer and phone. 📱
When ideas for inspired action hit you that aligns with what’s on your vision board, grab the inspiration by the balls and stay open to opportunities too!
And this is why I love helping other people get clear on what they want too. Once you start seeing a bigger possibility for your life, things can begin to shift.
