How to keep on top of your energy hygiene

I’ve been practicing energy work and teaching Reiki for over 20 years now, and I see keeping on top of my energy hygiene as being as important as brushing my teeth and showering every day. 🚿 🪥  WHAT IS ENERGY HYGIENE? It’s the regular practices you use to keep your energy, mood, nervous system, physical and mental health and emotional state clear, grounded, and not bogged down by everyone else’s shite. If I hadn’t kept on top of my…

Slow down. Be with you.

I’ve had a hectic couple of weeks – in a great way – a flying visit from my sister from London, totally over-stimulated for a week or so, cramming in work before and after, trying to avoid catching a cold from my sister and Hot Fiancé and then feeling totally exhausted this week while catching up on work. 🫩 Yesterday I finished early with my client and spent the afternoon in bed sleeping, then went to bed early at…

You don’t have to do it all, just because you can

Do you set high standards and expectations for yourself?   Do you have a never ending to-do list that seems to get longer, not shorter?   Are you a high achiever?   I definitely fall into this category and have exhausted myself being like that over the years.   My driving limiting belief was “you have to work really really really hard for everything you have and even then you can lose it all again”.   Over the…

Know when it’s time to take a break

Last week I took my fur kid Squishy for a week away in Busselton.   It was SO. LUSH.   We went to Busso, Dunsborough, Eagle Bay, Bunker Bay and Yallingup.   We played on the beach, watched sunset, played with dolphins, made new friends and randomly bumped into old ones, had breakfast dates and sun baking time and explored new places.   But most of all, we chilled.     The last 6 months have been awesome; I’m…
